Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Dataset - Version 2#

1. Summary#
The Talking Therapies for Anxiety and Depression dataset collects information about adults in England who receive NHS-funded treatment for depression and anxiety disorders under the NHS Talking Therapies programme. Conditions treated include agoraphobia, body dysmorphic disorder, depression, generalised anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, post traumatic stress disorder and a wide range of specific phobias. The dataset was previously called the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) dataset. The IAPT dataset underwent a major restructure in 2019 to align with other NHS datasets and was renamed V2.0. The IAPT V1.5 dataset covers referrals received from April 2013 to September 2019 and the IAPT V2 dataset covers referrals received from October 2019 onwards. Researchers who are approved to access the IAPT dataset will automatically be provisioned both versions.
