<summary>Why are there discrepancies between participants' dates of birth in UK LLC's harmonised data and those recorded in NHS datasets?</summary>
Both LPS and linked data are likely to include some errors and inconsistencies. For the LPS data, UK LLC only reports year of birth (YoB) as, in many cases, harmoised YoB has been derived from variables such as 'age today' combined with 'date of survey', so could be up to a year out. In the NHS data, there are likely to be inaccuracies due to typos and incomplete data.
