# Available linkages for each LPS

UK LLC offers linkage of LPS participants’ data to **NHS health datasets**, **non-health administrative datasets** (e.g. HM Revenue & Customs and Department for Work and Pensions) and **geographic or place-based datasets**. Each partner LPS decides which linkages UK LLC is permitted to set up. 

<aside class="admonition note"><p class="admonition-title">LPS participants can always object to UK LLC or specific data linkages</p>If a participant objects, no new data about them will be shared, but data that have already been provisioned to a research project can still be used until the project ends.</aside> 

LPS, linked data owners and UK LLC need time to complete the necessary **governance** and **data pipelines** to enable data to flow into the UK LLC Trusted Research Environment (TRE). For this reason, we distinguish between [**permitted linkages**](../lps_partner/linkages/lps_linkages.md) and **available linkages**. Currently, researchers can request access to LPS data linked to [**NHS England health records**](../available_linkages/lps_actual_health.md) and [**geographic datasets**](../available_linkages/lps_actual_geographic.md).
